Author, speaker, and fellow traveler in the hard seasons of life.
For years, I was the person who had it together. I knew my faith was solid. I was a good parent, a faithful friend, and someone people came to for wisdom.
Then came a season that shattered every easy answer I had. A prolonged crisis. Loss that wouldn't quit. Uncertainty that pressed in from every side.
That's when I discovered that all my spiritual knowledge meant something entirely different when I had to live it out in the hospital corridor, in the 3 a.m. panic, in the weeks when I couldn't pray because I was just trying to breathe.
But I also discovered something precious: that God meets us in these broken places. That faith doesn't fail us; it transforms us. And that peace isn't a feeling—it's a practice we can choose, even when life won't calm down.
That season became a crucible for everything I now teach and write about.
To equip people navigating uncertainty with practical, faith-rooted tools for choosing peace. To help caregivers, parents, leaders, and faith communities discover that resilience isn't about getting out of the storm—it's about learning to stand steady within it.
"I believe that healing happens not when circumstances change, but when we change how we engage with our circumstances. And I believe that happens through faith, community, and daily practice."
